I have to tell you both, that if you can clone all your people to be like Danny Oestreich who came out yesterday, you would love it. He came out to clean up the rim joint insulation so things could get painted. He got there and saw what a poor job the other guys did (grant it, they were nice too) that he ripped everything out and redid it. He said he could not justify putting his name on something being cleaned that was poorly installed. He also took the time and showed me how the sump pump system worked, the alarm and everything. Told me about getting it serviced once a year and what is done during the service call and the cost. The rim area with all the electric going in and out he left open for now until all electrical is finished which is fine... we can do that later in a month (after garage electric is added in too). He also told me that the guys who put in the ejector pump did a great job, did not just cut a hole and drop it in, they really crafted it the right way. Also super nice! So thank you... let me keep Danny for everything basement! Carol

It was the day of closing on a little house in Fairfield, CT. That was the day it decided to rain truckloads of water which immediately found its way into the basement of this house - 4" worth. Well, the Buyers did their final walk through and came out very discouraged. I, as the listing agent was called and informed of the wet basement. I spoke with the Sellers' attorney and we decided to contact Connecticut Basement Systems and spoke with an operator who was very understanding and told me that the company had already scheduled 100 appointments that day. Becoming discouraged, I asked if there was someone I could speak to just to give me some guidance. She took my phone number and said she will have a tech call me back. Low and behold, he did call me. He understood the importance of losing a closing for the Sellers and Buyers. He scheduled an appointment to meet me at the property the very next day to ascertain what needed to be done to "fix" the problem. He did it right on the spot, called the office and scheduled the installation for the very next day. That is why I always call Connecticut Basement Systems first. They understand the frustration there is with a wet basement. Thanks for a great job completed in one day!

Greg, I am so happy with the installation! I just looked over the work and it actually far exceeds my expectations. I have never seen my water pipes dry under there in the fifteen years we've been here. And the dehumidifier has only been going a few hours so far! The installation looks great and high quality. The crew you sent were very professional judging by their work. I am so glad we got the full package. I have high hopes for a warmer floor this winter because of the all the sealing. I can honestly say that the work I had done with Connecticut Basement Systems to keep my basement dry was the best investment I've ever made. They installed a sump pump, drainage around the interior perimeter wall, and dug up a trench to install piping right through the middle of the basement where we had a problem. We have been dry ever since. The work was done quickly and efficiently and they took care to clean up after themselves (when you jackhammer in a basement, it creates quite a mess). I don't have one complaint at all. I also feel their cost was reasonable given the amount of work. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.
