Connecticut Basement Systems Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Plainville had rotting sills in their basement and needed a footing extension to stabilize the home. One of our Sales Consultants, Brian DiRisi, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide them with a proper solution that our Foundation team would tackle. 

One of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and Jacob Scott, would install this job. They cut into the walls to be able to see the footings. They removed what was rotting and added cinder blocks as the extension. Then they added a new sill as a replacement for the rotting wood. Now this home has stable footings and sills, so the homeowner no longer needs to worry about their footings falling apart. 

A homeowner in Plainville, CT had a recently waterproofed basement, by our company, and decided she wanted to have it finished as well. She was looking to turn the space into an art studio. One of our Salesmen, Mick Foster, went out to the home to help her design this basement, optimizing all the space. 

Then soon it would be time for one of our Total Basement Finishing Foremen, Eric Arditio, and his crew to install her new basement. They installed our EverLast basement walls, ThermalDry Tile flooring, new doors, trim and molding, and even painted the ceiling. A homeowner in Plainville, CT expressed concerns regarding her basement's rapid increase in water. Despite having a sump pump system, large pools of water were visible within the space. In need of an expert, she decided to reach out to Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free in-home consultation.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Mark Krasnickas. Krasnickas arrived at the home, immediately sketching a map of the basement and writing notes on potential solutions. Once complete, he passed off his proposal to the homeowner, who approved of the plans.

With the plans approved, Foreman Luis Alas and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier and WaterGuard French drain system around the perimeter, the basement would be much more protected against unwanted moisture. This moisture, collected along the walls, is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump system and expelled at a safe distance from the home.

With the install complete, the homeowner felt a sense of relief. The combination of waterproofing systems installed made the homeowner confident in her basement's ability to mitigate unwanted moisture!

Before, this North Branford, CT basement was wet, filled with moisture and not being used to its fullest potential. The homeowner wanted a dry, clean basement that could be used for storage. She decided to call the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to achieve her vision into a reality. 

Now, this North Branford, CT basement is a dry and cleaner area for the homeowner to properly utilize. We installed a WaterGuard System, around the perimeter of the basement to collect water internally. The water is then channeled to a sump pump where it is discharged away from the home. CleanSpace liner was installed on the bottom half of the wall to prevent water or air seepage. Lastly, to control humidity in the area, a SaniDry Sedona was installed to keep the air clean and filtered properly. This product will keep humidity below 55%. The homeowner immediately noticed a difference and was pleased with the results!

They installed our WaterGuard perimeter drain system around the basement under the floors to ensure that any water coming in from the walls or floors will get collected. Then they also installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to take that collected water from the drains and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. To keep this basement moisture-free and prevent mold growth, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. As another layer of protection, they installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier along the whole basement walls to keep any moisture out and lead any water coming from the walls into the WaterGuard. These three products will work together to keep this basement dry. As a finishing touch, our crew installed Sandstone tile around the basement to give the basement floor a nice look!
