Connecticut Basement Systems Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Wallingford, CT had water and moisture issues in their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to get a solution. One of our Salesmen, Matt Kraus, went to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution with our sump pump system. 

One of our Foremen, Clive Burrell, and his team installed this job. They installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to collect water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. Our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed to eliminate moisture and prevent mold growth. Now this basement will stay dry and moisture free! 

This Wallingford basement had a crack in its wall that was seeping water. The homeowner was concerned that this crack was just going to get worse and wanted to find a solution. She decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems to help find a solution since they are the experts in all things basementy! 

The solution for this basement crack was to install FleixSpan. FlexiSpan will permanently stop water leakage and will not reopen like mortar-based repairs. A sealant is placed over the full length of the crack. Once applied, a strip of flexible and porous foam is installed over the crack. Lastly, a foam-lined channel is installed to direct water leakage to the WaterGuard System. Unlike sealant or mortar-based crack repair, the FlexiSpan System is not affected by hydrostatic pressure or slight movement in the basement! This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was thrilled with the product and result! 

This Wallingford basement had a water issue that was causing a nuisance for the homeowner. Water would especially build up and flood around the doorways of the basement. Frustrated, the homeowner decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems to help find her a solution. 

The solution for this basement was to install a WaterGuard System. This system is installed below the floor and it channels water that otherwise would enter the basement, and directs it to the sump pump, where it is discharged away from the basement. Around more problematic areas such as doorways, a TrenchDrain is installed. A TrenchDrain, as seen in the before and after photo, effectively captures surface water along openings and prevents flooding. This product is made from rugged reinforced plastic that will not crack or dent. The homeowner was thrilled with her waterproofed basement and was excited that the products truly worked in her basement! 

Before, this Wallingford, CT basement had a water issue that was causing the area to be wet and have a musty odor. The solution for this basement was to install a TripleSafe sump pump. This is the most reliable system since it serves three levels of protection. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over. In case of a power outage, our UltraSump battery backup sump pump, set at the highest level, will pump 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery! This is exactly what the homeowner needed and is now happy with his dry basement thanks to Connecticut Basement Systems.
