A homeowner in Orange, CT, already had our SuperSump Plus installed in their basement but needed a different sump pump due to the small closet where it needed to be installed. Once they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems, we sent one of our Sales Consultants, James Stablein, to the property to take a look at the space. He proposed a plan to the homeowner that would solve their issue. After the appointment was set, one of our Foremen, Garfield Sanderson, went out with his team. They replaced the homeowner's SuperSump Plus with our Smart Sump to fit the closet space. Now this new sump pump fits perfectly in the closet and will continue to keep their basement dry!
This basement was just your average cement basement. We put in Zenwall and a thermadry floor to make the basement more inviting and brighten it up. Also a Sanidry dehumidifier to keep it dry and comfortable.
The walls of this basement used to be plain, cold concrete. We covered them with our ZenWall panels. Each ZenWall panel has an insulated core and a reflective radiant barrier backing. Working together, these features keep this basement more comfortable and eliminate contact with cold, clammy concrete walls. In addition to being warm, these walls also give the basement a bright, clean look, transforming the once drab space into a beautiful living space!
This homeowner from Woodbridge, CT, was struggling with water leaking from the BILCO door and seeping into the basement. The resident called Connecticut Basement Systems to keep their basement water and mold-free. In the after photo, you can see that our team installed a WaterGuard below-floor drain along the edges of the walls and a TripleSafe Sump Pump. In addition, our team installed a CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier to prevent mold growth and provide your basement with a clean appearance. Now, this basement constantly remains dry and looks good as new!
A homeowner in Woodbridge, CT was looking to finish off part of their basement to make more usable space. They called our Total Basement Finishing team at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us create the basement of their dreams! After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Cary Benjamin, went out to the home and met with the customer. He figured out what they wanted, and then they could develop a plan. Once the Project Manager, Dan Medina, approved everything, it would soon be time to begin the finishing process.
One of our foremen would take on this job. He installed framing and once that was up, he installed our EverLast perimeter wall system. These will keep the basement insulated. Then he also installed Elite Plank flooring. He installed new doors and added trim to the whole basement, to give a clean look. He also painted the ceilings, which made the basement look awesome. With electrical installed, this homeowner can now enjoy their newly remodeled basement!
