This homeowner was struggling with water in their basement and they decided it was time to call us at Connecticut Basement Systems to solve their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Jimmy Stablien, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide the correct solution.
The next step would be for one of our Foremen, Krzys Wilk, and his crew to work on the installation of this project. They installed a TripleSafe sump pump along with WaterGuard perimeter drain in order to collect and pump out the water from the home at a safe distance. Without these systems, the basement would still get water and not be protected. But now any water coming in will always have a way out of the home and this basement will stay dry.
A homeowner in Stamford was getting water seepage in their below-grade garage and basement during heavy rains so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution. One of our Sales Consultants, Tony Van Deusen, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide a proposal for work they would need to have done.
One of our Foremen, Marcio Bahiense, and his crew would install this job. This home has a monolithic foundation, meaning they need our two-stage waterproofing system that includes our DryTrak which will collect the water and drain it into our sump pump. The crew installed our TripleSafe sump pump that would take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. With these systems, the below-grade garage will stay dry!
To keep water out of this basement, our team installed CleanSpace on the walls, WaterGuard around the perimeter of the space, and a SaniDry to get the excess water out of the air.
When we arrived at this Stamford, CT basement, the existing sump pump was an open basin that allowed moisture to evaporate back into the room. Our team installed the SuperSump sump pump system in its place. Aside from having an airtight lid, the SuperSump boasts a cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 hp sump pump, which can pump up to 2280 gallons per hour out of the basement. Now this basement will remain dry for years to come!
Water used to seep through the bottom of the walls in this Stamford basement. To stop this water from entering the home, our team installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier on the lower half of the basement walls. The CleanSpace stops all water and water vapor from entering the house, and instead redirects it to the Waterguard drainage system. The owners of this home no longer have to worry about a wet basement!
