This Stamford, CT basement suffered from constant water damage and mold growth and these homeowners were ready to find a solution. After speaking with Sales Consultant, James Stablein, from Connecticut Basement Systems, these homeowners were ready to start the waterproofing process. Foreman, Noel Harvey, and his team got right to work by installing our WaterGuard below-floor drainage system to guide unwanted water to our TripleSafe Sump Pump system. Although our pump is not pictured, it plays a crucial role in pumping the water out of the home and keeping this basement completely dry. In addition, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System to not only give this basement a brighter look but also play a role in guiding water vapor passing through the foundation wall to our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Now, this basement stays dry throughout the year, bringing immense relief to the homeowners and ensuring protection against water damage!
A homeowner in Stamford, CT was getting water in their basement and wanted to find a way to prevent it. They made the right decision when they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Bill Caple, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide a proper solution.
Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Sidney Avis, and his crew to get to work on the project. They installed a DryTrak drainage system to collect any water coming in from the walls. Then they installed a TripleSafe sump pump to take that collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. Now this basement is waterproofed and the homeowner is happy with the results!
This Stamford home had windows that were clearly insufficient. The windows could not let in any light because of the overgrown grass. Not only did the basement lack natural light, but it also let in a lot of moisture and air that made the area uncomfortable. The homeowner wanted a solution so he decided to call Connecticut Basement System.
The solution for this basement was to install EverLast windows paired with a SunHouse window well. The EverLast window has a durable vinyl frame that will not rust, rot, corrode, or need to be repainted. These windows will also prevent heat loss with its Low-E double-paned glass panes. Basement windows are usually located below ground just like this Stamford one. Dirt, debris, water, pests and even plants that take root in the well’s dirt floor would block the beautiful new EverLast window. A SunHouse window well was installed to prevent any disturbances and will also let in lots of sunlight into the basement with the well’s light color and curved form.
The difference is incredible and the homeowner was very happy with the results. Now, his basement is more comfortable and the area is brighter and more inviting!

They installed a TripleSafe sump pump along with WaterGuard perimeter drain in order to collect and pump out the water from the home at a safe distance. Without these systems, the basement would still get water and not be protected. But now any water coming in will always have a way out of the home and this basement will stay dry.
