Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Before, this Wolcott, CT crawl space was filled with moisture, had a dirt floor and was negatively impacting the rest of the home. Moisture that enters the crawl space can ruin insulation and encourage wood to rot and mold growth. We were able to solve this problem by installing a CleanSpace vapor barrier system to the dirt floors, SilverGlo insulation panels to the walls and rim joist insulation. The CleanSpace vapor barrier will prevent water vapor and humidity from passing through, thus keeping the crawl space dry. The SilverGlo insulation panels combine highly effective graphite infused insulation with a built-in radiant heat barrier surface. This gave the crawl space walls a solid pane of R-11 insulation. Lastly, the rim joist insulation will ensure that unwanted airflow and moisture will not flow through freely. Now, this crawl space is correctly sealed and insulated which will allow the home to run more efficiently! 

This crawl space was extremely damp and in need of major improvement! We installed our clean space liner to prevent water damage within the crawl space as well as put in our Super Sump Pump as well as a dehuidifier to prevent any further water damage.

With this crawl space we used our Cleanspace liner to create a clean, dry space. We then installed our Sanidry air purifier dehumidifier specifically designed for crawl spaces.

Before, this Branford, CT crawl space was filthy, foul-smelling and had a dirt floor. This combination can cause a risky environment on the main level of the home. The WaterGuard System will channel into the SuperSump pump and discharge it away from the home. There was also Spray Foam installed on the walls to completely air seal the crawlspace to ensure that no air flow will enter the crawlspace. The combination of all these products satisfied all of the homeowner’s needs where the crawlspace was dry and the odor decreased.
