Before, this Cornwall crawl space had a lot of unwanted air and moisture which affected the rest of the home. The homeowner worried about her wet crawl space and how it negatively affected the rest of her home. Wanting a solution that would solve her wet crawl space, she decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems, the experts in All Things Basementy!
Now, with the help of our patented products, CleanSpace moisture barrier and SmartSump pump, this crawl space is dry, clean and healthy! The CleanSpace moisture barrier prevents cold, humidity and moisture entering from the outside. The SmartSump pump will direct all water seepage to the discharge line away from the home. The combination of these two products results in a healthy, dry crawl space. The homeowner now has a peace of mind of her crawl space.
When we arrived at this Stratford, CT crawl space, it was a damp, debris-filled space. The old fiberglass insulation was falling from the ceiling because it was too waterlogged and heavy to stay up. We removed all the ineffective fiberglass insulation and replaced it with our SilverGlo insulation. SilverGlo combines highly effective graphite-impregnated insulation with a built-in radiant heat barrier surface. Combined with the TerraBlock floor insulation, we were able to seal the walls from outside moisture and humidity infiltration.
Groundwater was a problem for this Stratford, CT basement. It was seeping into the crawlspace and causing problems with humidity and mold. The SmartSump system provides excellent protection from groundwater leaks, and has the added benefits of a cast-iron Zoeller sump pump, a reliable liner, a sump alarm, and an optional battery backup sump pump. It's exactly what this crawl space needed to ensure a dry space all the time!
A homeowner located in Oakville, CT had a wet crawlspace that needed encapsulating. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Brian DiRisi, went to the home to assess the crawlspace and propose an encapsulation solution.
Then it would be time for one of our Foremen, Garfield, and his crew to install the proposed work. They installed our Drainage Matting on top of the ground. Then they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on top of that to eliminate water and moisture and prevent it from damaging the crawlspace. Then they installed our Sedona dehumidifier to eliminate moisture in the air and prevent mold growth by lowering the relative humidity.
Now this crawlspace is dry, clean, and musty-odor-free, leaving the homeowner with nothing but peace of mind.
A homeowner in Beacon Falls, CT was looking to have their crawlspace waterproofed, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems. One of our Sales Consultants, Jason Waldek, went to the house to estimate the problems. Our foreman Marcial Lopez and his team went to install our products. They put in our CleanSpace throughout the space. They also installed a Sedona Dehumidifier. With these products and some of our other waterproofing products, this crawlspace is now moisture-free and the homeowner no longer has to worry about water vapor getting into the space.
