Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

During heavy rains, this crawlspace would flood with water. Because it lacked a drainage system, the water would sit in the space for weeks at a time. To pump water out of the crawl space and collect groundwater before it enters the home, we installed the SmartSump sump pump. Along with a cast-iron Zoeller sump pump, the SmartSump includes a floor drain to collect water from plumbing leaks and a WaterWatch sump pump alarm that will sound off to notify the owners of water in the crawl space. The homeowners can reast easy knowing that their crawl space wil stay dry, even in heavy rainstorms!

This old crawlspace used to leak through the walls and floor, causing mold to grow. To keep moisture out of the home, we put in our CleanSpace liner on the floor. This durable, bright white crawl space liner prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through. With a 25-year warranty against rips and tears, this durable liner will convert your crawl space into a usable storage area. And with its mold-resistant additive "UltraFresh", CleanSpace will never support mildew or mold growth on its surface.

Before, this Wolcott, CT crawl space was filled with moisture, had a dirt floor and was negatively impacting the rest of the home. Moisture that enters the crawl space can ruin insulation and encourage wood to rot and mold growth. We were able to solve this problem by installing a CleanSpace vapor barrier system to the dirt floors, SilverGlo insulation panels to the walls and rim joist insulation. The CleanSpace vapor barrier will prevent water vapor and humidity from passing through, thus keeping the crawl space dry. The SilverGlo insulation panels combine highly effective graphite infused insulation with a built-in radiant heat barrier surface. This gave the crawl space walls a solid pane of R-11 insulation. Lastly, the rim joist insulation will ensure that unwanted airflow and moisture will not flow through freely. Now, this crawl space is correctly sealed and insulated which will allow the home to run more efficiently! 

This crawl space was extremely damp and in need of major improvement! We installed our clean space liner to prevent water damage within the crawl space as well as put in our Super Sump Pump as well as a dehuidifier to prevent any further water damage.

With this crawl space we used our Cleanspace liner to create a clean, dry space. We then installed our Sanidry air purifier dehumidifier specifically designed for crawl spaces.
