Basement Waterproofing in Stratford, CT

A homeowner in Stratford, CT was getting water seeping into their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us waterproof their basement completely. After scheduling an appointment with us, one of our Sales Consultants, Cary Benjamin, went out to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution without waterproofing systems to keep their basement dry all the time.

Soon after the proposal was accepted, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew would tackle the installation of this project. They installed our WaterGuard drain system below the perimeter of the floor. This collects water coming in from the walls or floors. Then they installed one of our most reliable and strongest pumps, the TripleSafe. This will take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance through a proper discharge line. They also installed a half wall of CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect from moisture and to lead any water coming in from the walls into the WaterGuard. Now this basement will stay dry all the time.

On the day of the appointment, our Sales Representative Mick Foster arrived at the home to give a free home evaluation. WaterGuard and BrightWall in Stratford, CT

Before, this Stratford, CT basement had discolored walls and a wet floor. The homeowner was tired of walking down to an uninviting and dreary basement while not being able to utilize it to its fullest potential. Wanting an inviting and dry basement, the homeowner decided to reach the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.

We were able to transform this basement with the help of our WaterGuard System and BrightWall panels. Now, the ground water is collected by the WaterGuard System and is discharged away from the home, keeping the basement dry. The walls were originally discolored due to excessive moisture. This could easily develop to mold growth. Luckily, we installed the BrightWall panels which will prevent moisture or air from seeping through the walls. Not only did this product help waterproof the walls, but it gives the entire basement a clean, fresh look. The homeowner was pleased with the results and is now reassured that the basement is being utilized to its fullest potential.
