A homeowner in Trumbull had a nasty, humid crawlspace. With so much moisture, they reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a proper solution for this issue. We sent out one of our Salesmen, Mike Bourdeau, to the home to evaluate the issues and propose a crawlspace encapsulation with our products.
Then it would be time for installation. Our Foreman, Vic Varela, and his crew would tackle this job. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier throughout the entire crawlspace to protect it from moisture and humidity. They also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to eliminate moisture and prevent mold growth. Both of these products will get rid of the moisture and humidity, as well as any musty odors.
Now this homeowner is thrilled knowing their crawlspace is a dry, healthy space in their home.
A homeowner in Bridgeport, CT expressed concerns due to her antiquated sump pump system. In need of an upgrade, the homeowner called the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems for a free in-home consultation.
Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative James Stablein. Stablein provided the homeowner with a proposal including plans for work, to which the homeowner accepted.
With the proposal accepted, Foreman Marcio Bahiense and his team arrived on-site to begin the install. Although located in the exact same location as the old sump pit, a new exterior drainage line was created for maximum protection.
With the install complete, the homeowner looks forward to being protected against further basement water!
This Bridgeport Home had a non working sump pump in a hole with a plastic hose to suck up water when rain came in. As you can see that did not work very well and the basement would fill up with moisture and smell very bad. These happy customers contacted us here at CT Basement Systems and we had one of wonderful sales reps come out and fix the problem. In the place of the non working sump pump we put in our TripleSafe Sump Pump which has three levels of protection. Not only does it have 2 pumps to make sure your basement doesn't flood, but in the instance that the power goes out then the third pump backed up by battery takes over. We make sure that basements stay dry, and we will contact you when your yearly maintenance comes up.
The homeowners in this Bridgeport, CT home had an old metal rotting window. The window was not only an eyesore but it also allowed water to come in and had begun to damage the wall and floors. We installed one of our EverLast™ Windows to give it a facelift that will never rot, rust, decay, or need any paint. The purpose of a basement window is to bring natural light into the basement and if the windows are rotted and covered with debris then they are not doing their job.
With a clean, leak-proof window in their basement that lets in more light, the homeowner could not be any happier.
A homeowner in Southbury was having water seep into their basement and needed a solution from us at Connecticut Basement Systems. One of our Sales Consultants, Josh Kroop, went out to the home to assess the issues and write up a proposal for a waterproofing system.
Once a job was scheduled, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Delfino Mones, and his crew to install this job. They installed our WaterGuard drain system below the floor around the perimeter of the basement to collect any water coming in from the walls or floors. Then they installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. Now this basement will stay dry!
