Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

When these Weston, CT homeowners noticed cold temperatures and excessive moisture in their crawl space, they decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems for a free inspection.

Our representative, Don Goudbout, inspected the problem and  reccomended a series of waterproofing measures to eliminate moisture and prevent cold temperatures within the owner’s crawl space. Soon after, our team installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent any and all water from entering the area. We also replaced the basement's old, rotting window with one of our signature EverLast windows to ensure maximum insulation.

Once we completed the job, this homeowner could enjoy a healthier, safer living space -- and keep her utility bills low, too!

As you can see, the concrete stairs leading down to this New Preston basement had a worrying crack at the base of the last step leaking water into the basement.

Our team air and water sealed the crack, so the owners will be sure the crack won't be a problem again.

This home in Westport, CT had an old sump pump that was in desperate need of replacing. Its discharge lines were getting clogged, and there was a decent amount of wear and tear simply just from being installed for so long. They gave us a call at Connecticut Basement Systems, and we were ready to fix their problem! 

Our System Design Specialist, Leonard Fletcher, came into the home and immediately diagnosed the problem. Their sump pump was old, the lines were clogged, and it was time to get it replaced. He called on our expert foreman, Kryz Wilk, to come in, and get a new pump installed! 

Kryz and his team went ahead, and installed a brand new, Triplesafe Sump Pump system into the family's home. This system has two pumps and a back up battery, so you never have to worry about high pumping demands, which often can burn out single pump systems. With this new system, the home will be equipped with all of its pumping needs for years to come, and the family residing in it will no longer have to worry about their old pump failing!
