To stop water from flowing through the doorway of this home, our team installed the TrenchDrain grated draining system along the edge of the entranceway. TrenchDrain resembles half of a basement drainage pipe, with a grated opening fitted snugly on top. The grate is flush or slightly below the floor, eliminating any tripping hazard. After the cement finishes drying, the owners of this home can be confident that no water will leak through their doorway any more.
Whenever it rained, water used to seep through the wall-floor joint of this Norwalk, CT home. To catch any water before it entered the basement, we installed a WaterGuard perimeter drain. The WaterGuard's design makes it resistant to clogs, and once we installed it and covered it with cement, it was a permanent and long-lasting solution to this home's water problem.
When water used to pool into the basement, it had nowhere to go. Puddles of standing water can lead to problems like mold and rot. To pump water out of the home, we installed our SuperSump sump pump system. Inside the SuperSump is the powerful, top-quality Zoeller sump pump, capable of pumping up to 2280 gal. per hour. The owners of this Norwalk, CT home now have peace of mind knowing that their basement will be dry, even in heavy rainstorms!
Before we arrived at this basement, water would leak from the wall-floor joint every time it rained. To prevent water from entering the house, we installed our WaterGuard drain around the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard effectively captures wall and floor seepage before it reaches your basement floor. The drainage system transports all ground water to a sump pump, so that it can be pumped outside. The owners of this home now enjoy a dry basement, even in the heaviest storms!
The R. Family had continuous water coming in through the walls in their basement. The water would seep in through the walls and rest on the ground in a pool of water. The homeowners wanted a fix to the water issue since from the picture you can see the mold on the walls. The homeowners contacted the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems and our basement waterproofing expert Len Fletcher made sure no more water would come in. We installed our WaterGuard French drain system to guide the water that comes in out of the basement. The WaterGuard is an exceptional product because it sits under the ground but above the foundation footing to prevent any clogging from happening. The water will be guided into our TripleSafe Sump Pump system. The sump pump has three pumps to ensure ALL the water is pumped out. The first pump which sits the lowest is the first to turn on, but if it can’t handle the amount of water coming in then the second pumps turns on to assist the first. The third pump only turns on if the power goes out but it has the capability to pump as much as half of a swimming pool. To encapsulate the walls from any moisture or any more mold being created we installed our CleanSpace Wall encapsulation system. The special material is waterproof and does not allow the moisture from the outside to get into the home. The home owners will no longer need to worry about anymore water damaging their basement.
