I wanted to thank you for the waterproofing services your company performed to our basement.  We contacted Connecticut Basement Systems and were comfortable the moment we met your specialist.  He took the time to thoroughly inspect the basement, listen to our questions and concerns and walk us through the entire waterproofing process.  Following his inspection and presentation we agreed to complete the project.  We opted to finance a portion of the project and by the time he left our house that day, we received a copy of the written estimate, knew the scheduled start date for the project and monthly payments to finance the project.  Your specialist was always available to answer all my questions before the work was completed.  Your crew was both polite and efficient.  Since the project has been completed we have noticed there is no longer a strong damp odor from the basement and the humidity throughout the basement is now normal. This is NOT a concern, but rather a note to thank you and to tell you how happy we are that our basement water problems are in the competent hands of Connecticut Basement Systems. Whenever your technicians come up to service our pumps they are great! We did have a problem last evening. On Monday we had a new double battery installed and service on both the pumps. Unfortunately the connection wasn't tightened and there was water leaking. A wonderful technician arrived a couple of hours later and fixed the problem immediately...driving an hour's distance. I never feel that you are trying to sell us something we don't need and your techs seem to be trying to help us save money if possible. Thank you for your service!! Judy & Bob

Brian, Thank you and CT Basement Systems for the prompt help with my issue. As I mentioned, my daughter is getting married this week and we have a house full of guests from out of town. It would not be a very good time to also have to deal with a flood. Bill just left. He was pleasant and clearly knew his business. He did a professional job of cleaning out the sludge, showing me the workings of the system and letting me know realistic expectations on the motor life. That said, I decided to err on the side of caution and replace the motor which he had with him. He finished up and cleaned up everything – then last we walked outside to be sure the ejection area was in order. I can rest assured that what was a panic situation just a short time ago is dealt with. Thanks again for all your help and having wonderful and knowledgeable field service folks. They certainly saved the day here.

My wife and I are very pleased with our new basement. Not only has the damp smell vanished, it has a nice, fresh odor. You cannot imagine how it feels to have a wet-free basement after several years of worrying about anything stored down there. It has given us extra storage space, a comfortable feeling and certainly, a secure feeling when we go to sell our home in the future. I am writing this to describe what it was like to work with Mark K. and the whole Ct Basement Systems team. From start to finish, the whole experience was first rate. Mark, who we first met, spent loads of time with us, going over what CT Basement Systems could offer us, figuring out exactly what our basement needed, explaining to us what we should expect and answering our questions. For those of us experiencing lots of water in the basement (for the first time!), having someone who could show us how this problem could be effectively solved was a huge relief. There was no pressure placed on us and we got lots of material to look over while we made our decision. We decided to go with CT Basement Systems because of their team approach (we happen to have a complex basement structure) and we liked the idea that several people in the company were going to take a look at the plans to insure the best outcome. It also wasn't lost on us that the owner of this company holds many of the patents for the materials being used. We liked how this company stands behind its work and its products. Mark was always readily available to us throughout the process, and thanks to him, our install date was moved up substantially. Because the company sends out large crews they were able to complete the work in two days (as opposed to the week another company told us it would take), The crew that did the work was professional and hard working and did a fantastic job, keeping us informed all throughout. And our basement now? Totally transformed. Ours was an unfinished basement, just basically cement everywhere. Some dampness (lots when it filled with water!). Today, with the CleanSpace coating on the floors, the Sedona dehumidifier and (of course) the sump pumps, our basement is bright, clean and dry. We've even begun to move some things out of our garage to store the basement, because the environment in there is much better! That is not something we ever anticipated to happen! We are very appreciative of all the hard work that went into solving this difficult problem for us.
