Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Before, this Greenwich basement had moisture seeping through the walls and insufficient windows. (as you can clearly see in this before photo) This is a common issue in many basements and is the reason for an unhealthy and frustrating environment to be in. The homeowner knew that this was a problem and wanted to find a solution. After doing much research, she decided to call the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.

The solution for this home was to install CleanSpace liner to the walls and replace the windows with our Everlast windows. With the new windows, there will be no cracks or openings to allow air or moisture to enter the basement. The CleanSpace liner is installed to prevent any water or moisture from seeping through the walls. Not only does the combination of these two products look appealing, but they are making the area a cleaner and healthier area to be in. This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was pleased with the results! 

Before, this crawl space had a dirt floor and was letting a lot of moisture into the space. Most of the moisture enters the crawl space through vents and soil can ruin insulation and also encourage mold growth and wood rot.

This crawlspace was damp and dirty before we encapsulated it with the CleanSpace vapor barrier. The vapor barrier is an effective solution to keeping the crawl space dry because it prevents moisture from passing through the floors and concrete walls of traditional crawl space structures, and has the added benefit of flexibility to cover irregular crawlspaces.
