Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Carmel, NY, had a nasty crawlspace that they were looking to get encapsulated, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Gus Stozinic, went to the home to assess the crawlspace and propose our encapsulation system. 

Soon after, it was time for our Foreman, Garfield, and his crew to install this job. The major elements of this job that will keep this crawlspace dry and moisture-free are our CleanSpace vapor barrier and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The dampness will no longer be an issue,e and it will also be properly insulated with our SilverGlo and RimJoist insulations.

This Greenwich, CT crawl space had dirt floors and exposed walls with no insulation. This caused the main level of the home to have cold floors, which leads to high energy bills. On the day of production, foreman Marcial Lopez and his crew arrived to get the project under way. They solved the problem by installing CleanSpace liner, SilverGlo, and proper rim joist insulation. The CleanSpace liner prevents all moisture from seeping through the floors, and also turns dirt floors into a tidy, usable area. SilverGlo keeps the area insulated, lining the walls with a reflective barrier. To make sure that no air sneaks above the crawl space walls and into the home, rim joist insulation was installed as well. The homeowner was thrilled with the results, and quickly noticed an improvement in the comfort and energy efficiency of his home.

They also installed a CrawlSpace Vapor Barrier; a bright, durable liner that presents water vapor and humidity from passing through.
