This Easton, CT resident battled with constant water seepage and unwanted odors. After a visit from our sales consultant, James Stablein, the homeowner was ready to set up an installation appointment with Connecticut Basement Systems. Noel Harvey and his team began by installing the WaterGuard below-floor drain and the TrenchLock and TrenchDrain to drain water away from the property and eliminate odors. Additionally, our team combined the TripleSafe Sump Pump with the WaterWatch Alarm to ensure homeowners know if the water rises above the point where the pump should have been turned on. Now, this basement remains water and odor-free!
A homeowner in Easton, CT had water in seepage in their basement and when it rained, it was more severe. They contacted us at Connecticut Basement Systems and we sent out one of our Sales Consultants, James Stablein, to the home to evaluate the issues and propose a permanent solution.
Then it would eventually be time for one of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his crew to install this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system to collect water coming in. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home safely. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls to protect from moisture and our Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate moisture in the air and prevent mold growth.
With our systems installed, this entire basement will stay dry all the time, leaving the homeowner with no water issues and great peace of mind!
To fix the water problem in this basement we added a Waterguard and Sump Pump system in to remove the water. After waterproofing, a Thermadry floor was installed to finish it off and give the homeowners a dry, useable space.
When we arrived in this home, the walls were leaking water. However, due to the thick monolithic floors, installing a below-floor perimeter drain would have been very difficult. Instead, we installed the DryTrak baseboard drain pipe, after drilling weep holes to alleviate water pressure. The DryTrak captures all the water that would have seeped into the home, ensuring a dry basement!
This basement was wet and humid when our team arrived. In order to stop moisture from seeping into the room through the walls, we installed our BrightWall wall panels. BrightWall acts as a vapor barrier, keeping humidity out. Alongside the ThermalDry floor tiles, which keep the floor 8-10 degrees warmer than the concrete underneath, we transformed this basement into a dry, bright, useable space!
