A homeowner in Greenwich, CT was continuously struggling with water in their basement. They decided it was time to call us at Connecticut Basement Systems to solve their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Rick Raucci, went out to the home to assess the issues.
Then it would be time for one of our Foremen, Sidney Avis, and his team to tackle this project. They installed a perimeter WaterGuard System around the basement to ensure water would get collected properly, and then it would drain into the sump pump. The specific pump our crew installed was the SuperSump Plus. This will pump out any water out of the home at a safe distance. They also installed a TrenchDrain that will collect water that comes in from the bottom of the stairs and then drain it into the sump pump as well. Now this basement is dry and the homeowner no longer has to worry about future water issues!

Before, this Greenwich basement was damp and had a concerning moisture issue. This left the area to be unwelcoming and a nuisance for the homeowner. Wanting a solution, he decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems!
The solution for this basement was to install a WaterGuard system. This product is a below the floor drainage system where water is collected and channeled from the WaterGuard to a sump pump where it will be discharged away from the home. The system is concealed with cement which you can see around the perimeter of the wall in the after photo. To control the moisture problem, CleanSpace Liner was installed on the walls. This moisture barrier is a durable, bright white liner that prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through. The dynamic of these waterproofing products will provide a dry and healthier basement. The homeowner was impressed with the transformation of his basements and how well the waterproofing products work. Now, this Greenwich homeowner can enjoy a dry and welcoming basement!
