The owners of this home wanted extra living space in their home, but their basement was too cold and drab to use for anything but storage. With our innovative finishing products specifically designed for basements, we were able to create a comfortable, beautiful space for the family to enjoy! The MillCreek flooring has an authentic wood grain top surface, printed on a solid vinyl base that can’t be damaged by mold, moisture, or insects, and the EverLast basement wall panels are engineered to never get moldy or rot. With the risk of humidity and moisture that's so common in basements, these products are the ideal basement finishing materials!

The homeowners in this Griswold, CT home needed a basement that they could call home. They particularly wanted a family room / play room for their child. A walkout basement that had lots of potential beyond simply storage. They contacted the experts (that's us!) at Connecticut Basement Systems to get the job done. We came out and did just that: we turned their basement into a comfortable, always-dry family hang-out space. 

We installed our EverLast™ wall system, which is made from moisture-proof cement board and strong enough that you can mount a TV directly on it. With brand new walls the homeowners needed a new floor to go with it. We installed our ThermalDry® flooring, which has the look of ceramic tile but wont chip or crack unlike ceramic tile. We also added some finishing touches and put in doors for extra storage space.
