Once a plan and proposal were made, it would soon be time for the installation process to begin. One of our Foremen, Erik Dobrzycki, worked on this finishing project. He installed framing and our EverLast wall system. He installed our Elite Plank flooring in Light Pecan. He also installed new doors and one of our EverLast basement windows. A homeowner in Hamden, CT was experiencing common issues pertaining to basement moisture. With moisture undesirably puddling around the perimeter of the basement, leaving stains across the finished drywall, the homeowner knew he had to act.
Reaching out to Connecticut Basement Systems was the first step to upgrading his space into a desirable, dry space for his family. Upon making contact with Sales Consultant Steve Machnicz, the homeowner expressed his dreams for a dry, finished basement free from common moisture issues with a finished, polished look. By installing a SaniDry Dehumidifier, the air is filtered and free from moisture. With a WaterGuard French drain and TripleSafe sump pump installed along the perimeter prior to finishing the basement, the basement's waterproofing abilities improved drastically.
To polish off the basement and provide a finished look, Machnicz suggested EverLast wall panels and ThermalDry floor tiles. Once the proposal was signed off, Foreman Jahroume Gardener and his team began work.
Upon completion, the homeowner was thrilled with the transformation! Not only is his basement moisture-free, but also has a clean, stunning appearance that his family can cherish for years to come.

After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants Brad Glazer, went to the home to meet with the homeowner to understand what they wanted and come up with a design plan. Once that was completed, it would go over to one of the Project Managers, Dan Medina, who would approve it and add any finishing touches to the plan.
Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Sheldon Lennon, to begin this project. He installed an EverLast perimeter wall system that has built-in insulation and is made of inorganic material so it can be damaged by moisture or mold. He also installed ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring to keep the floors up to 10 degrees warmer. New doors and ceilings were installed, tying the whole basement together.
