Dear Bill, The work was completed this morning, with the exception of the new electrical panel that Joe will put in for us tomorrow morning.  I just want to tell you that we have only the highest praise for Rich and the entire crew.  Everything was done with such fine craftsmanship and expertise, let alone neatness and total attention to every detail.  We are truly thrilled with the transformation of our former "dungeon" to a beautiful and extremely useful room.  Even the areas outside of the room are so much more user-friendly now, and we are so pleased that the backs of the walls they installed are of the same beautiful material as the inside.  So.....thank you for all the time, thoughtfulness and work you put into the planning and details.  It was a great success.  Our final inspection(s) will take place the morning of Dec. 31st.  I wish you and all of "the guys" a very merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I have been dealing with CT Basement Systems for many years, trying to get the water issue in my basement under control. We started in 2011 by installing a French Drain system, sump pump with battery back-up & a dehumidifier. Initially, the problem was corrected and I was very happy to be free of the very daunting flooding in my basement.  Over the years, water started to come in again and I was serviced by your company numerous times, with various degrees of success. Over the years, I had my oil tanks relocated to accommodate more channels, had the system under my basement windows repaired, and had basement sun houses installed. At one point, I asked for a manager to come to my house, because I felt that my verbal descriptions were insufficient. A manager came over I believe that same day, listened to my concerns, understood my situation & authorized the additional work that needed to be done. Subsequently, during a flash flood in the summer of 2019, (4” in ½ hour), the basement filled up with water again. Danny Oestreich came out to the house, and was instrumental in finally getting the situation resolved.  He scheduled a date to pull up some of the system already in place and found the problem that he expected; the piping was clogged with mud. He explained to me that the old system needed to be replaced and scheduled a date for removing the old French Drain system and replacing it with a newer more up to date system. The work was done promptly and efficiently and was done at no cost to me. He also explained that to prevent flooding from any future deluge of rain overcoming the system and coming into the house, that I needed to do some outside drainage work. Danny made it clear that this was not his area of business or expertise and he would not recommend someone for me, but explained what I needed to have done, and as there was a language barrier with the contractors I hired, he was of great assistance in helping me communicate with them.  While Danny’s expertise and efficiency were outstanding, I think he exemplifies the kind of employees in your company that I have had the good fortune to work with. I want to say thank you to Danny, and to all the employees, managers and technicians, representing your company who work diligently to resolve issues for homeowners. I am so happy to tell you that my basement problems seem to be a thing of the past! It makes me happy to have a dry basement floor when we are inundated with rain. Unfortunately, I don’t have all the names of the many CT Basement Systems technicians and managers who have visited my house over the past several years, but I have always appreciated their prompt attention, and perseverance, and ultimately their recommendations and solutions for the really difficult problem I have had for years.  CT Basement Systems is a company that CT can be proud of. I want to compliment Connecticut Basement Systems and just as importantly your team for being so dedicated, hardworking, and customer focused. My first contact with Connecticut Basement Systems was in 2018 when we first realized we had a basement water issue.  Our basement which included living space was damaged by ground water.  I contacted your company and soon met Jimmy Stablein who I quickly realized was very knowledgeable about such water issues. His recommendation to install water guard and the SuperSump system was what we chose.  The job was handled professionally and Jimmy was very supportive during the sale, installation, and even after the installation.  Not many people in sales do that!   Only later would we come to realize that much more was happening below ground and additional pumping capacity would be required. The second water event took place after the first SuperSump install.   After that incident Jimmy coordinated with Jason Wood and Jeff Allen who traveled out to Berlin the very same day they learned of the new incident.  They were not in and out of the house instead took significant time to understand what they believed should be the next best steps.  There quick response that day was so impressive as Seymour is not close to Berlin by any stretch. It was agreed that larger pumps plus an additional SuperSump was required.  They fast tracked the installation and service because everyone understood the house was at that point vulnerable to more water seepage. My family was one big rain event away from another flood of our finished lower level. Bill Anderson also became involved from headquarters.     While I can't touch on everything that took place I want you both to know just how much our family thinks of Connecticut Basement Systems and the superb team you have in place.  They did the right thing during our time of need. I will always promote your products and service whenever the opportunity presents. My wife and I have been spreading the word about the wonderful people that do make Connecticut Basement Systems simply the best. Thank you!

I had one other company give us a quote. I chose you because I wanted the work done right the 1st time - I felt that your products were "top of the line".

A year ago, we needed to have a damp crawl space covered up. Because I have used Basement Systems years ago with a different home, I decided to get their service again. The installation team was excellent and explained the process to me. Since then, the upstairs above the crawl space is much drier.

I just saw your technician, Bruce, preform some annual maintenance on the sump system your company installed back in 1998. Just want to say what a pleasure it was having Bruce Toth in my home. He took the time to ask certain questions and then explain as to what I should expect from the service call besides the fact that when he arrived he presented me with business card which included his picture - very smart!
