A homeowner located in Rye, NY, was getting water seepage in their basement due to an old failing system. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. One of our Sales Consultants, James Stablein, visited the home to assess the basement and propose our waterproofing solutions.
Soon after, it was time for one of our Foremen, Marcial, and his crew to install the proposed job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement, to capture water seepage. Then, our TripleSafe sump pump was put in to take all of the collected water and safely pump it out of the home. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls to protect from moisture and mold.
Now, this basement will stay dry all the time, leaving the homeowner with great peace of mind!

It is very important to get your Connecticut Basement System sump pump maintained every year. Dirt and sediment build-up in a sump pump liner can cause pump failure which can lead to flooding. Your pump is an electromechanical device that needs to be annually maintained.
The before and after photo shows a sump pump basin filled with dirt and sediment build-up. After Alberto Vasquez maintained the system, the sump pump basin was transformed to a clean and efficient system. Now, this homeowner’s system will remain high-performing which will keep the basement dry all year long!
Before, this Rye Brook crawl space was dark and damp which caused for an unhealthy environment. The homeowner wanted to transform the environment to a dry and healthier space. After doing her research to find the perfect company to help find her a solution, she decided to go with the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution for this crawl space was to install CleanSpace liner, a WaterGuard system and a SaniDry Sedona. The WaterGuard system will keep the crawl space dry by channeling the water internally to the sump pump. The CleanSpace liner that is applied to the walls and floors of the area prevents air and moisture from entering the space. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to keep humidity low which will make the air healthier by getting rid of moisture and preventing mold from growing. Now, this crawl space is transformed and the homeowner is thrilled with the results!
This is a set of before and afters in a basement in Greenwich. The original sump pump had a dirty open hole which someone tried to cover up with a piece of wood. Anything could fall in and clog up the system this way. We replaced it with our SuperSump® Premier Pump System.
The SuperSump® includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,500 gallons of water per hour out of your basement.
The SuperSump® can be installed with an optional UltraSump® Battery Backup Sump Pump, which can pump out 11,500 gallons or more on a single charge!
