This Windsor basement had insufficient windows because they were filled with debris and allowed air flow to enter through the basement. This caused for an energy deficient home. The homeowners wanted a solution to make their home more comfortable and esthetically pleasing. After doing some research, they decided to set an appointment with Connecticut Basement Systems learning that they are the experts in all things basementy!
Glen Kerpchar was the Sales Representative who arrived at the home to evaluate the situation. He concluded that Everlast windows and Rim Joist insulation would be the perfect solution for the home. The Everlast windows will eliminate drafts that waste energy and compromise comfort. The windows feature all-vinyl construction that will prevent mold support, corrosion and rot. Another benefit is that they allow a lot of natural light into the basement. Rim Joist insulation will solve the air leakage problem and will create a more energy efficient home.
Eight Everlast windows and the Rim Joist insulation were installed by Krzystof and his production team efficiently and professionally. The homeowner was very impressed of the products and how well they worked. She can now enjoy her home with a peace of mind that her basement is well insulated.
