A homeowner in Hartford, CT was getting water into their basement and needed a solution. They made the right decision when they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us solve their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Brian DiRisi, went out to the home to assess the issues and write up a solution.
Once the plan was approved it was time for one of our Foremen, Krzysztof Wilk, and his crew to install this project. They installed our WaterGuard drain system along with our SuperSump Plus. These will work together to collect the water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. The crew also installed a CleanSpace wall system to protect the walls from water/moisture and ensure if there is any, it gets directed into the WaterGuard system. Now this basement will stay dry because of our strong waterproofing systems.
When water seeped into this Madison, CT basement, it had no place to go. To drain it away and get it out of the house, we installed the SuperSump sump pump and WaterGuard perimeter drain. WaterGuard, which is underneath the freshly poured cement, will catch water coming from the outside before it enters the basement. It then flows to the SuperSump pump. With its Zoeller ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, it will keep the basement dry for years to come!
