Our System Design Specialist, Ferdinand Gojani, came out to survey the space, and assess what needed to be done. The first thing he suggested was a CleanSpace Radiant Vapor Barrier. This bright, white vapor barrier completely transforms a crawl space, while also working to reduce moisture and humidity within the crawl space. It also helps seal out cold drafts in the winter, and is suitable over walls and floors. We also installed a SaniDry dehumidifier, which is designed to provide many years of energy-efficient, trouble-free performance, even in tough crawl space conditions. SilverGlo rigid foam insulation was also installed. This rigid foam insulation shed water instead of soaking it up like cellulose and fiberglass insulation. The best part? It doesn't support mold EVER.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Consultant Bret Citrin. Citrin, an expert on All Things Basementy, listened attentively to the homeowner's concerns. Scheduling a free in-home consultation to better understand the issue, Citrin diagnosed the issues the homeowner's basement was experiencing.

With a completed proposal accepted by the homeowner Foreman Luis Alas and his team arrived on-site to begin work. A waterproofing system comprised of a WaterGuard French drain, TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed providing maximum protection against basement moisture. With everything installed, the homeowner was thrilled with the results!

In an effort to fit the TripleSafe sump pump system, a new location was created near the old pump's area (see pictures for more insight). By accurately measuring these areas, DiRisi ensured the homeowner would be protected against further issues pertaining to moisture.

A customer in Amston, CT had been getting water in their basement for many years and finally decided to have it waterproofed. After reaching out to our company, we sent out one of our Salesmen, James Stablein, to the home to assess the issues and provide a solution that would eliminate this problem for good. 

One of our Foremen, Delfino Mones, and his crew installed this waterproofing job. They began with our WaterGuard drainage system below the floors to capture water coming in from the walls/floors. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to discharge the water out of the home at a safe distance. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate moisture and prevent any future mold growth. Now this basement will stay dry all the time!

He proposed to the homeowner that we install a few of our waterproofing products to eliminate the problem. Once the homeowner set the appointment, we sent in one of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his team.

When Cisco and his team arrived, they got straight to work. They installed our WaterGuard system, which is below the floor, creating a drainage system. They also installed our SuperSump Plus, which works with our waterproofing system to keep the basement dry. Another product that was installed was our TrenchDrain, a drainage system designed to prevent groundwater and rainwater from entering the basement. Now, this customer’s home will be kept dry from any flooding!
