They first air sealed the entire home with rim joist insulation. This insulation is important to keeping the basement warm, and it is an affordable option that is high coverage. They then installed ThermalDry floor tiles in sandstone gray. These tiles are a great option because they can snap together over concrete, and create a great thermal barrier, so your feet are never cold!
