A homeowner in Litchfield, CT was getting water seepage in their basement through the basement entrance and called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution to their water problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Don Godbout, went to the home to assess the issues and then provided the homeowner with an estimate for the proposed work.
Once approved, it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew to install this job. They installed one of our SuperSump Plus sump pumps that would collect water coming in from the bottom of the stairs and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They installed an XL TrenchDrain at the foot of the basement stairs, so any water coming in from there, would get directed into the sump pump. Now this basement won't get water because anything coming in goes right to the sump pump.
A homeowner in Litchfield was getting water seepage in their basement in multiple areas, so they called us to find a permanent solution. One of our Sales Consultants, Steve Machnicz, went to the home to assess the issues and propose an estimate for work we would do.
One of our Foremen, Garfield Sanderson, and his crew installed this job. They installed our WaterGuard perimeter drain system along with multiple of our SuperSump Plus sump pumps. These systems will work together to collect water coming into the basement and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. Now this basement will stay dry and give the homeowner peace of mind!
In this basement we installed a waterguard system, which removes water from the basement and drains it into a sumppump.
Before we arrived, this basement was always damp. We installed a SuperSump sump pump system. The SuperSump includes a powerful Zoeller ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,500 gallons of water per hour out of the basement. Once the cement finishes drying, the owners of this home wil have a waterproofed basement for years to come!
Before, this Goshen basement had a crack in its basement wall that was allowing air and water to leak through. Quick fixes hardly work because poor adhesion or a slight movement along the crack can break the seal. This was when the homeowner decided to call the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to resolve the problem correctly.
The solution for this wall crack was to install our FlexiSpan system. This 3 part system seals the crack while ensuring that no shifting will occur. The water is actually guided to the system below where it is channeled to the sump pump. The wet cement in the after photo is where the port is located. This system solved the leaking wall crack and the homeowner was happy to have a permanent solution to his problem!
