As you can see, the concrete stairs leading down to this New Preston basement had a worrying crack at the base of the last step leaking water into the basement.
Our team air and water sealed the crack, so the owners will be sure the crack won't be a problem again.

When we arrived at this crawlspace, it was humid and leaky, and there were puddles of water on the ground. To stop groundwater from seeping into this home, we encapsulated the crawlspace with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is a very durable liner that water cannnot pass though. This crawlspace is now dry, and will remain so for years to come!
This crawlspace used to be a major contributor to the high energy bills in this Westport, CT home. Unconditioned air would leak into the crawlspace and then up through the house. We insulated the space with our SilverGlo rigid foam insualtion. SilverGlo combines highly effective graphite-impregnated insulation with a built-in radiant heat barrier surface, and seals walls from outside moisture and humidity. We were able to make this home more comfortable and save the owners money by insulating the crawlspace!
