After the initial appointment, it would soon be time for the installation. One of our Foremen, Marcial Lopez, and his crew worked on this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to pump all the water out of the home. Our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate moisture and mold growth. CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls. With all of these systems, this whole basement will stay dry all the time, leaving the homeowner happy and worry-free!

The homeowners were unsure of what they should do when they contacted Connecticut Basement Systems for an evaluation. We sent out our basement waterproofing expert Ralph to solve the problem. Ralph identified water seeping in through the walls and recommended installation of our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Our wall vapor is a 100% waterproof material that prevents any moisture from coming in through the walls. Any moisture that comes in behind the vapor barrier is taken care of by the DryTrak baseboard drain system. This drainage system will carry any intrusive water out of the basement and, as opposed to traditional french drain systems, there is no need to jackhammer.
