Once it was time for the appointment, our salesman suggested that Everlast walls would be the perfect replacement for having a beautiful new look in the basement, as well as keeping mold from growing through the walls. This would then get drained into the TripleSafe sump pump that they installed. This sump pump uses a three-pump system, one with a battery backup. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. The TripleSafe uses 3 pumps; a primary, a secondary, and a battery backup which can pump over 11,000 gallons on a full charge. This system will always be working, even if the power goes out. A homeowner in Hebron called us and said they had a shifting and settling foundation that they wanted us to repair. We sent out one of our Sales Consultants, Tim Kane, to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution that will solve this problem for good! He informed them that they would need our crew to install foundation push piers to stabilize and lift the home up.
One of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and his helper Jacob Scott, would tackle the installation of this job. This job required push piers. They installed multiple around the outside of the home. These piers get installed below the foundation footing where they drive steel piers into the ground to lift the home into place and stabilize it. To do all of this, they have to dig a trench deep into the ground to then install brackets below the footing. Then they use hydraulic pressure to slowly push the steel piers through the bracket and into the ground below. This is done until a certain pressure is reached and the piers have gone deep into the ground. They are lifted and stabilized to a certain pressure that the homeowner is satisfied with. Then the crew caps off each push pier bracket and can finally backfill the trench. Now this home is stable and has lifted into position, giving the homeowner peace of mind!
