A Darien homeowner was struggling with water seepage issues in their basement from heavy rain, so they called us to get a permanent solution. Our Salesman, Vin Orsini, went to the home to assess the issue and propose our perimeter waterproofing system. Soon after, our Foreman Sid and his crew installed the proposed work. The major components of this job included our DryTrak drainage system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and our TripleSafe sump pump. With our systems in place, this basement will stay dry all the time.

Before Sump Pump Installation

This basement kept getting water due to heavy rains, so it needed a proper system to stop this issue for good.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

We installed our TripleSafe sump pump to pump collected water from the drainage system out of the home. Our TripleSafe uses 3 pumps inside to effectively do so: a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons on a full charge in case of a power outage.

Drainage System and CleanSpace

They installed our dual drainage system. This consists of our DryTrak system and feed lines and is put in because the basement is a monolithic foundation. This means the foundation is extremely thick, and jackhammering around the perimeter is a challenge, so we place our DryTrak baseboard drain around the perimeter to capture the water and then feed lines bout 2-3 feet away to then direct all the water to our sump pump system. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls to protect them from moisture.
