A homeowner in Norwalk, CT was getting water seepage in their basement from rain, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to get a permanent solution. Salesman, Alex Lopez, visited the home, evaluated the basement, and proposed our waterproofing solution. Then it would be time for Foreman, Moises, and his team to install the proposed job. The major components of this project included our WaterGuard drainage system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, TripleSafe sump pump, and Sedona dehumidifier. With our systems in place and working in harmony, this entire basement will now stay dry all the time.

Before Waterproofing

This basement had ongoing water seepage every time it rained, so they needed a permanent solution.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our TripleSafe is installed to take the collected water from the perimeter drainage system and pump it safely out of the home through a proper discharge line. It uses 3 pumps to effectively do so; a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge.

WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and Seonda

Our WaterGuard is installed below the floor, around the entire perimeter to capture water seepage. It is sitting below the new cement seen in the image. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed on the walls and tucked into the flange of the WaterGuard to help lead that water into the drains below. Then, our Sedona dehumidifier tackles the moisture by lowering the relative humidity and preventing mold growth throughout the entire basement.
