A homeowner in Darien was getting water in their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems looking for a solution. Our Salesman, Vin Orsini, evaluated the basement and proposed a waterproofing solution that would eliminate all water problems. Our Foreman, Garfield Sanderson, and his team tackled the installation. The major components of this job included our WaterGuard drainage system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and TripleSafe sump pump. With our systems working together, this basement will now stay dry going forward!

Wet Basement

This basement had clear signs of water issues, so a full waterproofing system was needed.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our TripleSafe takes collected water from the drainage system and pumps it safely out of the home. It has three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge.

WaterGuard and CleanSpace

Our WaterGuard drainage system runs below the floor (under the new cement), around the entire perimeter of the basement to capture water seepage. It then leads that water directly to the sump pump. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed on the walls as moisture protection and to help lead water from the walls into the drains below.
