A customer in Mystic, CT was getting water in their crawlspace so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. Our Salesman, Brian DiRisi, went to the home to assess the problems and propose a crawlspace encapsulation system. Our Foreman, Moises Chantes, and his team installed this job. The major components of this job include our CleanSpace vapor barrier, SuperSump Plus sump pump, and Sedona dehumidifier. With our systems in place and working together, this crawlspace will stay dry and musty odor free.

Wet Crawlspace

Here you can see the moisture and water in this basement. It was creating musty odors, so a permanent solution was needed.

Encapsulated Crawlspace

Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed over drainage matting throughout this entire crawlspace to eliminate water direct it into the sump pump and keep it moisture-free. The SuperSump Plus sump pump will safely pump out any water that enters the crawlspace. Our Sedona dehumidifier eliminates moisture and humidity as well as prevents mold growth.

Before Encapsulation

This crawlspace was a nasty, damp space.

CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed throughout the whole space, on the walls and floors. Water will not damage or create musty odors in this space anymore.
