A homeowner in New Haven, CT had water seepage in their basement from heavy rains. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution. One of our Salesmen, Rick Raucci, visited the home to evaluate the basement and propose a waterproofing system. Our Foreman, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew installed this job. The major components of this job included our WaterGuard drainage system, TrenchDrain, and TripleSafe sump pump. With our systems working hand in hand, this basement will now stay dry, leaving the homeowner with nothing but peace of mind.

Before Sump Pump Install

This basement was getting water every time it rained, which is most likely why the shop vac was needed.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our TripleSafe takes the collected water from the drainage system and pumps it out of the home at a safe distance. It has three pumps that are used when needed: a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge.

TrenchDrain and WaterGuard

Our WaterGuard system runs below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement to collect water coming in through the floors and walls and then directing it into the sump pump. The TrenchDrain sits at the bottom of the basement entryway to capture any water that may enter from above the floor.
