A Waterbury homeowner had water seepage into their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. We sent out one of our Sales Consultants, Dean Artusa, to the home to evaluate the issues and propose a waterproofing solution. One of our Foremen, Vic Varela, and his team installed this job. The major components of this project include our WaterGuard drainage system, SuperSump Plus sump pump, CleanSpace vapor barrier, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and TrenchDrain. With our systems working together, this basement will stay dry and the homeowner can live with peace of mind.

Before Waterproofing

Our basement waterproofing system was needed here in order to eliminate the water problem.

Waterproofed Basement!

Our WaterGuard collects the water coming in and leads it into the sump pump system. The SuperSump Plus then pumps out the water safely from the home. Our Sedona dehumidifier eliminates moisture and prevents mold growth from the entire basement.

WaterGuard and CleanSpace

Our WaterGuard is installed below the floor (under the new cement) to capture water seepage. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is tucked into the WaterGuard to ensure water from the walls trickles directly into the drain below.

TrenchDrain

This TrenchDrain was installed above WaterGuard to collect water coming in from above the floor.
