A homeowner in Easton was getting water seepage and had moisture issues in their basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. Our Salesman, James Stablein, went to the home to assess the issues and propose a waterproofing system solution. Then, one of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his crew would install this job. The major components of this waterproofing project included our WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and Sedona dehumidifier. With these products/systems working in harmony, this whole basement will stay dry all the time.

Before Waterproofing

This basement had ongoing water and moisture issues.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our TripleSafe works to take collected water from the drains and pump it out of the home safely. It has three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and a battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge. No matter the circumstance, the pumps will always be working to eliminate water.

WaterGuard & CleanSpace

Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on all the walls and tucked into the flange of the WaterGuard drains to lead water from the walls into the drains below. Our WaterGuard system lies below the floor (under the new cement) and around the entire perimeter of the basement to capture any water that may enter. It then directs it into the sump pump.

Sedona Dehumidifer

Our Sedona is a commercial-grade dehumidifier that works to eliminate any moisture in the entire basement and prevent mold growth.
