A homeowner in Norwalk, CT had an ongoing water issue in their basement until they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems in search of a solution. Our Salesman, Rick Raucci, went to the home to assess the basement and propose a full perimeter waterproofing system. Our Foreman, Moises Chantes, and his crew installed the proposed system. The major components of this job included our WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace vapor barrier. With our products in place, this entire basement will now stay dry all the time.

Before Sump Pump

This is where our TripleSafe sump pump system would be installed.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our TripleSafe takes collected water from the perimeter WaterGuard drains and pumps it out of the home through two discharge lines, at a safe distance. It has three pumps inside; a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup pump that can pump out over 11,000 gallons on a full charge.

WaterGuard & CleanSpace

Our drainage system is installed below the floor, around the perimeter of the basement. It captures water coming in from the walls or floors, and the partial wall of CleanSpace helps direct water into the flange of the drains below. The new cement seen in the image is just where our WaterGuard lies below.
