A homeowner in Scarsdale, NY had water in their basement and needed a permanent solution, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems. We sent one of our Salesmen, Doug Wheeler, out to the home to assess the issue and give them a solution with our waterproofing systems. One of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his crew installed the job. They first installed our WaterGuard drain system below the floor, around the entire perimeter to collect any water coming in from the walls and floors. After, they installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to take all of that collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance.

This sump pump in this basement was not working properly to keep the space dry.

SuperSump Plus

Our crew installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to discharge all of the collected water out of the home at a safe distance. This is done through a proper discharge line.

CleanSpace and WaterGuard

CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls to protect and lead water into the drainage system below. This drainage system (WaterGuard) gets installed by jackhammering the floor, laying down the drains, and then covering them with new concrete.

WaterGuard and TrenchDrain

More of our drainage system was installed, to cover the whole perimeter of the basement. The TrenchDrain was installed to collect large amounts of water coming from the stairs and into the drains below.
