The homeowners in this West Hartford home were tired of the constant water seepage in their basement flooring. They did not know where to begin to not only get the moisture out of their basement but also get that musty smell out! They contacted the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to fix the basement and fix it right. We came in and did just that. We installed our WaterGuard french drain system to carry the water out of the basement, this patented design is layed over the foundation footing to prevent any clogging. The drain system carries the water into our TripleSafe sump pump which has a total of three pumps. The first pump turns on when water comes in and is able to pump out 2,220 gallons of water per hour. If that pump can't handle the amount of water then the second turns on and pumps an additional 3,900 gallons of water per hour. if the power goes out then the third battery backed up pump turns on and pumps out  whopping 11,500 gallons of water. To take the moisture out of the air we installed our SaniDry Dehumidifier and air purifier which can usually remove around 30-40 pints of water per day. The home owner can rest assured that their basement will be free of water and any moisture coming into the basement.
