Before
A settling foundation will mean a great deal of damage to your home -- including cracked foundation walls, cracked drywall, doors and windows out of square, and tilting chimneys. As foundation damage goes unaddressed, it will become more difficult to repair.
During
First step to installing the Push Pier system is to remove soil down to the foundation footing.
During
Once the holes are dug the heavy duty brackets are installed below the footing. Interlocking steel pier sections are then hydraulically driven through the bracket until bedrock or stable soil is reached. The weight of the home is then transferred through the piers to this load-bearing soil.
After
Once the homeowner and installing contractor are satisfied with the stabilization or amount of lift, the soil can be back filled. The home is now permanently stabilized in its new position.
