Rotting Wood

The moisture in the air can cause wood to rot, as well as mold problems.

Replacing Old Support Posts with SmartJack

Because this crawlspace was letting water in, the wooden support posts that help hold up the house began to rot. To ensure that this was not a problem in the future, we installed a SmartJack, which can support up to 60,000 pounds.

Dirty Crawlspace

In addition to letting in moisture, this crawlspace also let bugs and other pests into the home.

Cleaned Out Crawlspace

We removed all the debris that collected in the crawlspace before we sealed it.

Encapsulated Space

We sealed the crawlspace from the outside with out CleanSpace vapor barrier.

CleanSpace System

Underneath the CleanSpace is a our drainage matting. It redirects any moisture that is stopped by the CleanSpace to a sump pump system.

SaniDry in Basement

As a further measure of protection against humidity and mold problems, we installed a SaniDry in the basement of this home. The SaniDry can remove up to 109 pints of water a day from the air, as well as filter out microbes.
