Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing - Trumbull, CT

A homeowner in Trumbull homeowner was getting water in their basement with heavy rains, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to get a permanent solution. Salesman, Alex Lopez, went to the home to assess the issues and propose our waterproofing solution. Our Foreman, Al, and his crew installed this job. The major components of this project included our WaterGuard drainage system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, TripleSafe sump pump, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now that our systems are in place and working in harmony, this entire basement will stay dry all the time.

Before Waterproofing Installation

This basement would get water seepage every time there were heavy rains, so we proposed our full perimeter waterproofing system.

TripleSafe, WaterGuard, and CleanSpace

Our WaterGuard drainage system is installed below the floor (under the new cement) to capture water seepage and direct it into our TripleSafe sump pump. Then that will pump the water safely out of the home through discharge lines. Our TripleSafe uses three pumps to effectively do so; a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons on a full charge. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is tucked into the WaterGuard and will help lead the water into the drains.

TrenchDrain and WaterGuard

Our WaterGuard is installed around the entire perimeter of the basement. Then in this particular area, our TrenchDrain was installed to capture water seepage from above the floor.
