Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Basement in Canton, CT

A Canton homeowner was getting water seepage in their basement, causing damage. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. Salesman, Tony Van Deusen, went to the home to assess the issues and propose a waterproofing system solution. One of our Foremen, Garfield, and his crew then installed this job. The major components of this job included our WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and TrenchDrain. These systems work together to ensure the basement will stay completely dry all the time.

Old Sump Pump

This basement had an old sump pump that was doing nothing to eliminate water. So our system was proposed to replace it.

TripleSafe

Our TripleSafe sump pump takes water from the drainage system and pumps it out of the home at a safe distance. It uses three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons on a full charge.

Sedona Dehumidifier

Our Sedona eliminates any moisture and prevents mold growth throughout this entire basement space.

WaterGuard

Our drainage system is installed below the floor (under the new cement seen in the image), around the entire perimeter of the basement. It collects the water seepage from the walls and from below the floor.

TrenchDrain

The TrenchDrain is a key component because it can collect water from above the floor that may enter from the basement entryway. It goes right into the WaterGuard below.
