A Bedford Hills homeowner was getting water seepage in their basement due to an old, ineffective sump pump. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a proper, permanent solution, so we sent our Salesman, Chris Klonaridis, to the home to propose a new system. Our Foreman, Delfino, and his crew installed the proposed job. The major components of this project included our WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSapce vapor barrier, and Sedona dehumidifier. Our systems will work together to ensure this entire basement stays dry all the time.

Old Sump Pump and Wet Basement

This homeowner had an existing sump pump that was not working to eliminate any water from this basement. There are clear signs of water seepage from the walls.

TripleSafe Sump Pump & CleanSpace

Our TripleSafe sump pump located in the corner will take collected water from the drainage system and safely pump it out of the home. It uses three pumps effectively; a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons on a full charge in case of a power outage. CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed on the walls to direct water into the sump pump.

WaterGuard Drainage System

Our WaterGuard is installed around the entire perimeter of the basement, below the floor (under new cement in the image). It will capture water seepage from the walls and from below the floor and then direct it into the sump pump.
