Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Basement in Prospect, CT

A homeowner in Prospect, CT was getting water in their basement, so they contacted us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. One of our Salesmen, Steve Machnicz, visited the home to assess the issues and propose a waterproofing solution. Eventually, one of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his crew would install this project. The major components of this job included our WaterGuard drainage system, CleanSpace vapor barrier, TripleSafe sump pump, and Sedona dehumidifier. Our systems will work together to ensure this basement stays completely dry all the time, leaving the homeowner with peace of mind.

Water Damage

This basement had an ongoing water seepage problem and there are visible signs of damage along the perimeter of the basement.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our TripleSafe was installed to take collected water from the perimeter drainage system and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. It has three pumps that are used effectively: a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons on a full charge in case of any power outages.

CleanSpace and WaterGuard

Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed on most of the walls to help direct water into the drainage system below, which is our WaterGuard. It is what is sitting below the new cement, along the entire perimeter of the basement. It captures water coming in from the walls and below the floor.
