Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Basement in West Hartford, CT

A homeowner in West Hartford was getting water seepage in their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a permanent solution. Our Salesman, Jeff Wade, went to the home to assess the issues and propose a solution. Our Foreman, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew installed the proposed job. The major components of this project included our WaterGuard drainage system, TrenchDrain, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and TripleSafe sump pump. With out full perimeter system in place, this basement will stay dry all the time.

Before Waterproofing

This basement had an ongoing water issue and needed a permanent solution.

TripleSafe sump pump

Our TripleSafe takes collected water from the drainage system and pumps it out of the home at a safe distance. It has three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and our UltraSump battery backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons on a full charge.

WaterGuard and CleanSpace

Our WaterGuard drainage system runs below the floor (under the new cement) around the entire perimeter of the basement to capture water coming in from the walls and floors. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is tucked into the WaterGuard to lead water from the walls directly into the drains.
