Old Sump Pump
This basement had an existing sump pump that was not working to eliminate any water from the basement, so an entirely new system was proposed.
Waterproofing System
Our crew installed our TripleSafe sump pump which uses 3 different pumps to ensure water is eliminated from the basement no matter what. Water is collected through the WaterGuard drainage system that runs below the floor, around the perimeter. The black box next to the sump pump is the battery backup that charges our UltraSump.
WaterGuard
This is installed below the floor, around the entire perimeter to capture water coming in from the walls or below the floor. There is a flange that sits against the wall to ensure all water from the wall goes directly into the drains. The drains lie below the new cement.
TrenchDrain
Our TrenchDrain is placed at the bottom of the basement entrance to capture water that may enter the space from above the floor. It goes directly into the WaterGuard below.
Sedona Dehumidifer
Our dehumidifier is commercial grade and will eliminate the moisture and musty odors in this basement, as well as prevent mold growth. When there is no moisture in the air, mold will have no place to grow.
