Homeowners located in Guilford, CT expressed concerns regarding their basement's ability to mitigate unwanted moisture. With an antiquated sump pump system not up to the task, the homeowner's wanted a new and improved system. Reaching out to the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems, they were able to schedule a free in-home consultation. Upon calling, the homeowners made contact with Sales Representative Jimmy Stablein. Stablein listened to their concerns, putting together a proposal documenting potential solutions to help prevent further moisture. Once the proposal was complete and accepted by the homeowners, Foreman Luis Alas and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. A variety of waterproofing systems were installed, ranging from a new TripleSafe sump pump system to our CleanSpace vapor barrier. With the install complete, the homeowners felt much more confident in their basement's ability to mitigate unwanted moisture.

This TrenchDrain system ties into the WaterGuard system, handling higher traffic areas. Excess moisture collected here is fed into the TripleSafe sump pump and expelled from the home.

WaterGuard & CleanSpace

Our WaterGuard French drain system, installed below the floor (see fresh concrete around perimeter), offers a clog-free solution to mitigating basement moisture. Additionally, our CleanSpace vapor barrier ties into this system, collecting moisture along the walls.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Installed in the same location as the old sump pump system, our TripleSafe sump pump features three levels of protection against basement moisture. With a battery backup pump (see black battery on left), the homeowner's will be protected in the event of a power outage.
