Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in New Canaan, CT

In New Canaan, CT, a homeowner had water seepage in their basement so they called us to find a solution. We sent out our Sales Consultant, Chuck Stofko, to the home to assess the issues and propose a waterproofing solution. Our Foreman, Delfino Mones, and his crew installed the proposed work. The major components of this waterproofing job consisted of the following; WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, TrenchDrain, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and Sedona dehumidifier. With all of these products and systems combined, this entire basement will always be dry.

Wet Basement

This basement had water seeping in from different areas. This is where our sump pump would be installed.

TripleSafe and Waterproofing Systems

Our TripleSafe sump pump takes collected water from the drainage system and pumps it out safely from the home. It uses 3 pumps; a primary, a secondary when needed, and our battery backup pump when needed, it can pump out 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge. Our Sedona dehumidifier is located next to the sump pump to eliminate moisture.

WaterGuard & CleanSpace

Our WaterGuard drainage system is installed below the floor, around the entire perimeter of this basement to collect any water coming in from the walls or below the floors. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is tucked into the flange of the WaterGuard to lead water from the walls directly into it. Any water collected is directed right into the sump pump.
