Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Eliminating Water in a Basement in Greenwich, CT

A customer in Greenwich was getting water seepage in their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems. We sent one of our Sales Consultants, Vin Orsini, to the home to assess the issues and give them a solution with our waterproofing products/systems to eliminate this problem for good! One of our Foremen, Marcial Lopez, and his crew worked on this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump. Our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to eliminate moisture and mold growth. CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls. Now this basement is complete with our systems, this basement will stay dry all the time!

Before Waterproofing Solutions

This would be where the sump pump would get installed, it is the lowest point in the basement.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our crew installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take collected water from the WaterGuard drain system and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. It uses three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and an UltraSump battery backup pump that can pump over 11,000 gallons of water on a full charge.

WaterGuard

To the right of the image, you can see new concrete, where below, our WaterGuard drain system was installed below the floors. It will collect the water coming in from the walls or floors and direct it into the sump pump.

CleanSpace

Our crew installed CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls to protect the basement from water that comes in from the walls. It leads right into the drain system that is below the floor.

Sedona

Our crew installed a couple of SaniDry Sedona dehumidifiers throughout the very large basement. These will eliminate moisture in the air, by bringing the relative humidity down. It will also eliminate mold growth because, with no moisture in the air, mold has no place to grow.
